Rugby: A barbarian sport played by gentlemen Sport psychology & mind-set management for better results by Jean Tawil - 04/08/202005/08/20200 After playing Rugby League for more than 7 years, I realized how much rugby is not just a sport.Rugby is a game where you play it with a very strong brotherhood between teammates, this game helps each player to reflect how much one person can impact a whole game or a whole team just by getting out the right emotions during the whole journey of a game. The game helped me to know how much brotherhood and respect in life is important, and how much it is important to take care of others. The game is based on respect between the players and the referee, what everyone sees is 26 men fighting each other and hurting themselves… but no and a hard no. What is happening between these 26 men is more than this, every tackle, every run, every pass is a sign of respect to your teammates, and it is a sign that shows them that you are here for them, for the team. All the fights and aggressive games that happened between teams are all friendly and respectful games but not just a sport. In the end, this a barbarian sport played by gentlemen, after each game players will hug each other’s and forget all the tackles, sweat, the blood. All these sacrifices are for the brotherhood that each team has and for the beauty of the game. Share on Facebook Share Share on TwitterTweet Share on Pinterest Share Share on LinkedIn Share
